Our most popular course is the combined Landscape and Wildlife Photography Course (see below), however we also offer courses covering the following topics.

Landscape and Wildlife Photography Course. (application form at bottom of page)
The course is based in Holt and takes advantage of the amazing landscapes and abundant wildlife of North Norfolk. Course leaders are Andrew Midgley and David Tilpling (see "about" page), who both have a great deal of experience leading photography holidays and workshops.
The course is tailored to all levels, so as well as covering basic skills for those wanting to improve their general photography knowledge, it will also benefit those who are at a more advanced stage.
Price per person £195. All admissions and lunch on saturday are included in the price.
There is a limit of about 10 people on the course. Accommodation is the responsibility of course members, although we can provide a list of options if needed. You should make your own transport arrangements to the locations, but we encourage car sharing.
Friday Evening
Starts around 7pm at the Gallery where both photographers will show examples of their work and discuss composition and technique relevant to their specialisation. This will lead to the aims and objectives of the following day's location sessions.
Saturday All Day
The day will be split into a landscape session and a wildlife session. The landscape session will be along the north norfolk coast, and the wildlife session will be at the Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, where we will also break for lunch. Depending on the time of year and the weather, the running order of the sessions may vary slightly to make the most of prevailing conditions. Finishes around late afternoon or early evening depending on the groups needs.
What to expect
As the weather is unpredictable, we need to be spontaneous and prepared for adverse conditions, (we can be persuaded to stop for coffee if it's cold!) so bring appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear, and of course your camera equipment.
Student comments
"I found the experience useful and extremely enjoyable...... Thank you both for the experience."
"Thanks for a very informative time on the course, it has certainly motivated me to get out and take photos again and to spend time learning the art of photography..."
"Gentlemen, Great day on Saturday, thanks."
Next Dates
3rd & 4th September 2010.
